Stories of Faith And Recipes
Choosing to walk to Christ–
Choosing to walk with Christ-
Choosing to replace fear with faith-
Doesn’t mean choosing a harder way.
Our lives become less complicated and filled with peace as we become more in sync with Christ. Our decisions seem simpler. Our resolve to utilize our resources to help others come unto Christ becomes our purpose. And not only is God’s grace sufficient for us-
But we find ourselves extending it to others.
When life feels hard around you—
Note what is truth.
Note what you can simplify.
Discipleship isn’t one more thing you’re supposed to add to a busy schedule. It’s a commitment to Jesus Christ. Living true to that promise actually simplifies your life.
Priorities become clear. The path seems more defined. Courage can replace questions as your feet progress on the journey of choosing Christ and following Him. These decisions automatically result in you sharing your light.
When difficult seasons of life come –
When the storm rages –
When happiness seems lost –
Christ will be there with you.
Your faith sends an outstretched hand to Him. He takes it. You won’t reverse the storm alone. Choose to turn to Christ. Choose to trust him. He will multiply your faith, courage, and strength. Christ will work with you.
The clouds will eventually part.
The sun will shine.
The sea will be calm.
Like Peter, I choose how focused my faith is in Jesus Christ. And like Peter, sometimes I fall. Christ meets me right where I am as I sink, and lifts me to safety. He is my greatest resource.
As I work to better understand His characteristics, His mission, His grace, His love, and His greatest gift to each of us – the atonement of Jesus Christ– my life feels complete.
Life’s forecast calls for storms from time to time. Some will roll in, some will rage.
You don’t need to fear them.
Choose to trust the process.
Walk in faith.
Seek simplicity.
Seek light.
Share that light.
Share simple happiness.
Increased joy, peace, energy, light, and love are the result.
